Takapuna
offers hockey to players of all abilities, from a keen beginner to experienced
national and international players.
We run 7 Mens
teams and 6 Ladies teams, catering for ages 13 through to some of our veterans
who are into their 60’s. The club currently boasts a number of
representative players in all grades including David Kosoof, Bryce Collins and
Steven Edwards – all members of the current New Zealand Black Sticks Mens team.Like all clubs playing in the

PHD
coaching has recently been formed by Takapuna Premier Players Dave Kosoof and
Simon Brill . PHD stands for Professional Hockey
Development. Dave and Simon are looking to offer professional services to
hockey players throughout NZ in several ways. There are 3 areas they are
targeting, school hockey, associations and privately. All areas can have
their players and/or coaches developed. PHD have
got several coaches employed to offer these services. For more
