SUMMER YOUTH HOCKEY

Summer Youth Hockey registrations are now open at Takapuna Hockey Club.  We would love to have you if you would like to play in the 2024 season. Youth is for those in Years 7-10. ​
  1. Youth summer hockey at Takapuna is a fun learning experience for our players and a gateway to club hockey. It is an opportunity for them to learn the skills of 11 aside hockey alongside their friends, with a knowledgeable on-field coach.
  2. All abilities are welcome from beginners to experienced.  To accommodate this, the competition has three grades this year; A, B and C.
  3. Our fees for the season are $125, this include training sessions.
  4. The games are played on a Monday afternoon/evening with the season starting 14th October and finishing on 16 December.
  5. Our training sessions will be the following dates and times at Harbour on Cello 1 & TigerTurf 2
  • ​​22 September: 3-4:30pm 
  • 13 October: 3-4:30pm 
  • 24 November: 3-4:30pm 
  • 15 December: 3-4:30pm 
  1. Takapuna provides the club shirt. The players will need to provide black shorts and Green socks
  2. There will be no play on Labour weekend or Monday 11th November (due to the World Masters tournament at Harbour Hockey).
